About the Documentary
In 2011, Glen Campbell was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Glen and his wife, Kim, made history by going public with the diagnosis – the first time a major American celebrity would share this experience with the world. The Campbell Family the embarked on a short “Goodbye Tour”, but the three-week engagement turned into an emotional and triumphant 151-show nationwide tour de force.
Great Lakes Clinical Trials is one of Chicago’s leading Alzheimer’s disease research sites. We are holding this screening to spread awareness, continue the conversation and provide an outlet to learn more about your mental health.
Representatives from Great Lakes will be available before and after the movie in the lounge to discuss current research opportunities for those battling memory loss and other diseases.
If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss, call 773-275-3500 ext. 116 to set up a free memory consultation with one of our memory care experts.
